EDSEL ARRIETA - PART 3

Sunday - May 20, 2007 2:00 p.m.

Kent, now connected with the National Census and Statistics Provincial Office in Kalibo and Jones Arrieta, who I later learned is now the provincial head of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) in Aklan with their chidlren together with Bibline, Christine and his husband arrived yesterday morning.

I came late at around 9:00 p.m., the traffic was heavy at Quirino Avenue and it took me almost three (3) hours to travel from our place at Almar/Zabarte to Project 8. Manong Franklin, Manang Tensie with Tweeny was there, Manong Dante, Manang Odette with her sister and the parents of Carlo, Celine's wife, were also present together with guests. Atty. Antonio "Otik" Zuleta with his son was also present. Of course, Sony and Malou with their children.

I prepared a video clip (4 minutes viewing time) consisting of the pictures of Manong Edsel during Celine's wedding, the first day of his funeral and the latest pictures I took yesterday with Jones, Kent and Christine. Most of those abroad can view this in advance than those who are here, except for us who has DSL with at least 100 Mbs. speed. The advancement in technology brought about by science makes our world smaller, life more comfortable, barriers broken in time and space.

I hope you'll appreciate this humble contribution that we prepared, which we would like to share with our relatives, who by circumstances beyond our control could not make it here. Thank you too for your comments and I hope that you log on to our site's guestbook and post your comments thereon, for record purposes.

In memory of my Mother, Manang Realyn, my sister and Daddy, who has passed away after almost a year after Mamang's death , Tiya'y Lydia, Liling, Elma, Riza, Tiyo'y Abun, Dandi, Artem, Filimon, Hernani, Manong Vic, and all of our relatives who I forgot to mention who already passed away . . . and now, Manong Edsel. This, we humbly dedicate:
